OUR

STORY

How it all started...

With today’s food supply chain, consumers often get low quality fresh produce. Let’s look at a few stats, as you probably don’t know us very long yet. So, we let the numbers speak for us.

What do we all want?

What's the issue?

Our Mission

Our Vision

Well, we love greens. Always have. Always will.

Back in 2014, we started tackling the challenge of local food production in an urbanized world.

We aim to grow superlicious pesticide-free baby leaves, micro-greens, herbs and produce ultra-fresh meal kits, smoothies, dressings, and herbal teas.

In order to bring you the freshest of fresh, we designed a sustainable cultivation system that grows your greens all year-round, rain or shine.

Sounds complicated?

Well, we’ll take care of that and promise to deliver the best tasting, incredibly nutritious greens - pesticide free. Of course.

Our aim is to create a global network of many, many indoor vertical farms in cities around the world.

We want to provide local, fresh, pesticide-free greens to the urban population. Any time, any climate, any place, any green. Did we mention, we love greens? We do. Really.

Pesticides

5.2 billion pounds of pesticides used worldwide.

Long distances

On average food travels 2400 km to our plate.Transporting harvested plants over long distances, decreases the nutrient content of plants, as they begin to decay at the moment the roots are cut off.

Food waste

70 billion pounds of food go to waste each year.

Low nutrients

Intensive agricultural methods have stripped increasing amounts of nutrients from the soil in which the food we eat grows.

Sustainability

We want to make food production more sustainable.

Taste & Variety

We are looking for bold new flavors and food diversity.

Health & Convenience

We want to consume functional food that is convenient and healthy.

Transparency

We want to know where our food comes from, how it’s produced and how it affects our lives.

THE FARM

Our community

You can probably guess by now, that we’re not an ordinary farm. Originally a farm was a place where people celebrated nature, enjoyed pure, good food. All around the world harvesting was a special occasion where people came together as a community to enjoy their gratitude for good food.

Now, imagine a world of not just one harvest cycle, but many. We are talking of up to 20. Imagine the many pleasant occasions we can come together and enjoy pure good food! Together, we will bring back the joy of food and our farm will be home to that feeling and a place for you - the avid food lover.

Our farm is beyond organic.

Wide variety

We created a new concept of a fully automated farm from seeding to harvesting with a network of experts in horticulture-automation, light, seeds, substrates.

Sounds nerdy?

We thought some of you may be interested in how it all works. If you’re not and trust us (thank you!) just scroll down to “The Team” to meet us!

We patented a proprietary substrate and propagation solution for last-mile delivery of harvest-on-demand, ultra fresh greens and ready-to-eat meals.

We continuously collaborate with renowned researchers to develop large range of plant recipes for the most delicious taste and varieties on earth.
